“I didn’t start Tilley’s to get rich. I started it because something needed to change.”

Tilley’s was born not from profit, but from passion — the kind that comes from seeing the world as it is, and daring to imagine how it could be.

Our founder didn’t have investors, a fancy office, or a viral campaign. What he had was a fire in his belly. A deep frustration that in one of the richest countries in the world, children are still going to bed hungry. That some parents are silently skipping meals so their kids can eat.

That anger turned into action. And from that, Tilley’s was created — a brand built on belief.
Belief that fashion can do more. That businesses can care. That purpose can come before profit.
